I’m a total geek
After lunch, I went to Shangri-La Mall today to check on something. After that I went to National Bookstore to look for good books. My mentoring session was at 3pm so I got a lot of time to spare. I was really bored, I wanted to buy new books like 13 Reasons Why, Looking for Alaska, The Gift, The Fire and others but I was running low on moolah. So I just went to the sale section instead, hoping I would find good books. Thankfully, I did.
I bought two books, one was “Hero Type” by Barry Lyga. The cover caught my attention. The teaser on the first page is teasing and the the first pages of Chapter 1 looks understandable for my level of comprehension, so I got it hahaha.
The second one was “Ostrich Boys” by Keith Gray. Like the first one, this book cover caught my attention and seems understandable.
I got the two for P198 (P99/ea) by the way so I’m really happy about it. Although I have one pending book to read. I’ve been busy these past few weeks so I haven’t started on it. There are a lot of good books on book sales, you should visit them more often.
I also talked to my mentor today and talked about the business model. I’m submitting it on the 9th of February but it has to be done before the 3rd because I’m gonna be in Cebu that day upto Feb 5, and we have a retreat in Batangas on 6-8. That means double work! College is killing me slowly.
I’m also downloading all the books (seasons) of Avatar: The Last Airbender(3.27gb) and it’s now 85%. I’m gonna watch all the episodes I can this weekend. Excited for The Legend of Korra! :>
