Readings

I was late for my 7:30am class today. I seriously need a way to wake up, my alarm clock isn’t enough. Thankfully the professor still allowed me to take her test. Anyways after that class, we went to the library for this Friday’s speech. We were required to look for an article in the Harvard Business Review issues 2011 only.

(November 2011 is missing, I think someone from our class borrowed it)

I was scanning through the September issue and bingo. I found a very interesting topic to talk about on Friday. It’s only a 2-page article which was perfect since we’re only given 5 minutes to report.

I picked this, “Adults behave better when teddy bears are in the room.” I’ve only read the first sentences and thought it was easy and interesting so I submitted it to our Communications professor immediately. One of these days, I’ll borrow some copies. The contents are really interesting!

I also read Act I of Shakespeare’s ‘Macbeth’ for out Literature class, and I hardly understood it. It’s either the old English words and too many figurative language in it, or I’m just too dumb to read something written by Shakespeare. I’ll reread it tonight though, hoping I would get it.
