Random photo of me, hahaha. This is my favorite spot in the house and…. I’m wearing my dad’s vintage Rayban shades! :)
Anyways, I finished Perks last night and I don’t know what to say. I can relate to Charlie in the book, the way he feels and how he acts around people, but I envy that guy. He experienced almost everything a teenager can experience, and he’s only 16. Also, he was able to open up to someone like Sam and Patrick about how he feels and what he thinks, which I’ve never experienced. And it’s cool how Sam and Patrick acted normal about Charlie and made him feel comfortable, unlike in most high schools where seniors look down to the freshmen and think they’re too cool to hang around with them.
All in all, it’s a must read book. I can’t wait for the movie though. I can’t imagine Emma Watson doing all those things, or maybe I’m just used to looking at her as Hemione. And what’s better is that, the author of the book Stephen Chbosky is also the director, producer and writer of the film! Can anything get better than that!?
PS, I haven’t studied for my Operations exam tomorrow. Cramming time tonight, and I promised my self to minimize cramming this year. Good luck about that.
